Why Prometheus?
Project Prometheus is one such development that seeks to improve and uplift society. A significant part of project Prometheus is Locally Optimized Tertius Unique Solutions (LOTUS), which will enable the local manufacturing of intravenous (IV) fluids within a tertiary hospital, so the availability of resources, including water sources, power supply, and infrastructure, is easily available from the hospital itself.
It helps hospitals to produce IV fluids which play a crucial role in healthcare and contribute significantly to the betterment of society without depending on other manufacturing facilities, thereby reducing the cost of commutation. Another major significance of this project is that water distillation and thus IV fluid manufacturing can be done easily anywhere, including difficult-to-reach areas, war zones, disaster regions, and even in outer space.
